In a live interview on Tuesday September 23rd to promote the World Series of Hip Hop $100,000 Main Event rap battles taking place on Saturday September 27th, things got a little heated when Rece Steele snatched the mic away from Lady Luck. The entire hour interview with the ladies can be seen in its entirety at http://www.stickam.com/viewMedia.do?mId=181069357 or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8Pxc-Lnkmo for the edited version. Mysonne and Murda Mook were also at the radio station at the time for interviews about Saturday’s event.

“I’m excited that the artists are so enthusiastic about the event Saturday”, said WSOHH Chairman, Furqaan Clover. “What happened at the radio station on Tuesday was unfortunate, but that was real Hip Hop right there… artists showing their true drive and passion! They have done it in every video they have put out and in every interview they have done about the event, this was just expressed in a different way. Saturday it will be about the craft, nothing more. We know it will be a peaceful event and a night to remember.”

The $100,000 Main Event will be webcast live in a pay-per-view event for $9.99 from an undisclosed location on September 27th at 5PM EST exclusively at www.wsohh.com. Monie Love will host the event and all the battles will feature G-Unit's DJ Whoo Kid as referee. The event will also feature performances by Akinyele and G-Unit’s Mazaradi Fox.

Pre-registration for the pay-per-view webcast is available now by logging on to www.wsohh.com/webcast.html and clicking the sign up link.

For the first time ever, the public will decide the winners of each battle via text voting! Each contestant will be assigned a number, which will be available on www.wsohh.com starting on Saturday September 27th at 12pm. Viewers can text their votes to the assigned numbers to decide the winner of each battle; each text costs $0.99 and they can vote as often as they wish.

The World Series of Hip Hop $100,000 Main Event is the re-launch to a series of other events including monthly battles with prize money for established artists as well as an annual event for all artists with a chance to win $1 million.
