Toronto, ON -- On Friday July 15, two-time 2011 Stylus DJ Awards Winners and the Official DJs for the Toronto Raptors, 4KORNERS will be performing at Calgary's premiere venue, Flames Central during the Calgary Stampede with special guest JB Allen for an unforgettable DJ and drummer performance.
DJs Kap'n Kirk and Short Sirtkit, collectively known as 4KORNERS, have been rocking the 2000+ capacity crowds at the biggest party of the Stampede for the last four years. After a record turnout for the 2011 opening day parade featuring Prince William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, anticipation for this years’ Flames Central event is higher than ever… and 4KORNERS are sure to deliver! “We’re super pumped for this show! Our parties in Calgary are always crazy, especially during Stampede, however this time we are pulling out all the stops! Calgary is NOT ready for what they are about to experience and we can’t wait to give them a night they will never forget”, exclaimed Kap’n Kirk!
Aside from being hired to DJ some of the hottest parties around the globe in cities such as Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Shanghai, 4KORNERS has gained notoriety and a broadened their fan base as the Official DJs of the Toronto Raptors, hosting and spinning at every home game at The Air Canada Centre for the last 6 years. And if that wasn’t enough, the duo also hold down residencies at three of the hottest nightclubs in Toronto: Fridays at LIVE Nightclub; Sundays at Tattoo Rock Parlour; and splitting duties on Saturdays with Short Sirkit back at LIVE Nightclub and Kap’n Kirk at This is London alongside Joe Ghost.
Last week at This is London, one of Toronto’s most exclusive nightclubs, during his weekly residency at the Saturday night “London is Calling” event, Kap’n Kirk debuted the release of the “London Is Calling” Promo CD. Mixed by I*AM (International Artist Management) DJs/Producers 4KORNERS and Joe Ghost, the CD is now available for free download and offers music lovers and party goers alike a taste of what they can expect to hear when attending the longstanding Saturday night event.

Kap'n Kirk has also stepped behind the boards as a producer releasing his 1st track last year with fellow I*AM artist Joe Ghost. His debut single, a remix of European pop sensation STROMAE's track "Te Quiero" continues to receive heavy spins from DJ's across Canada and around the world including commercial radio play in Canada, France and Belgium.
