Single
Young Rising Singer/Songwriter Releases long awaited
debut single from her upcoming EP
Toronto,
ON – Rising singer/songwriter Locklyn released her powerful new single “Sides”
today on iTunes and all music streaming platforms including Spotify, Tidal,
Amazon, and Google. The single is the first from her forthcoming EP NUOVO, set
for release on her 19th Birthday, November 24, 2018
“Sides” takes a harsh look at the reality of the gun violence that has
been plaguing many cities around the world including Locklyn’s hometown of Toronto.
“With everything happening in the world, sometimes we are forced to question
the loyalty and intentions of the people around us. In the song I am asking if
they will be there with me if the world were to end. What side will they
choose? Will they be the one holding the gun or will they help the person stuck
in front of it?”
Produced
by Trust Chen Pow, who recently co-wrote and produced “Feel Like Its My
Moment”, the tennis themed anthem with Ann Kaplan of The Real Housewives of
Toronto, and featuring background vocals from renowned vocal coach Lorraine
Lawson (CTV’s The Launch), “Sides” has already been featured on several radio
stations including 106.9 The X (London, ON), CKXS 99.1 FM (Wallaceburg, ON),
100.7 FM (Little Current, ON), The Verge, Canadian Beats, IndieCan Radio and
PopCan Radio.

can see Locklyn perform live at Fashion Forward on Sunday October 21 at The
